PANIC BOMBER, U of W, IGGY!!

Dear Friends,

Welcome to 2009!! We've got all sorts of cool stuff lined up for you so let's get at it...

Tonight!! PANIC BOMBER makes his live debut at FRIDAYS AT THE VAGABOND. If you've been looking for some solid local electronic music, look no further because classical-pianist-turned-dancefloor-destroyer Panic Bomber is firing it up. What's better is that his entire debut EP "Calling In Threats" is available for free from www.panicbomber.com. Go download it and see you all tonight!!

Tomorrow during Gallery Walk, the "UNIVERSITY OF WYNWOOD" at the Brikolodge Co-Working Office is hosting a series of lectures entitled "In All Likelihood These Dreams Will Be Crushed: Ambitious Cultural Projects by Young Miamians" and the first speaker happens to be... me! I'll be talking about why I wanted to start Sweat and what it took to actually do it, to keep going through Wilma, and other related topics. There will be free cheap wine so we hope you can make it. Full info at www.universityofwynwood.com

Moving into next week, we've got another side-splitting CASA DE HA-HA on Tuesday night with some of Miami's funniest stand-up comics. Then on Friday we've got an insane national show at The Vagabond with HEY WILLPOWER (Tomlab Records) performing live!! Go to myspace.com/heywillpower and fall in love with their r&b-inspired indie electro-pop ("Hundredaire" is our favorite...)

Much love,
Lolo, Jsin and the Sweat crew

P.S. Check out this awesome video in CNN's "MyCity_MyLife" series that has IGGY POP roaming around Miami and hanging out in front of his likeness on the Sweat Records mural!! Here's the link: Iggy Loves Sweat
