Sweat Records: 4/20 Festivities and Beyond...

Big weekend once again!! It's a quasi-holiday here in Miami so there are numerous 4/20 parties and events all around... Scroll down for the full dilly. Tonight we also bid a fond farewell to local wine bar Stop Miami. This will be their last night open so stop by and wish them well!! Out Of The Anonymous will be providing the musical send-off...

Tomorrow at Circa Saturdays we are extremely pleased to be bringing down one of our favorite almost-local bands - Gainesville's own VELVETEEN PINK!! Their 70s retro vibe was a huge hit at the Plug show last October so we've brought them back to rock you once again. Smooth synth lines, catchy hooks and matching outfits - what more do you need? As usual there is NO COVER at Circa Saturdays so this show is FREE!! Showtime is midnight on the upstairs stage.

Sunday is Earth Day so check out EarthFest 2007 at Crandon Park with live performances by the Spam All-Stars and more, a "freeswap" organized by Rag Trade and all kinds of other green happenings!!

Last but not least, keep an eye out for our 2nd Anniversary flyers while you're out and about this weekend, featuring ridiculously cute artwork by Sweat's pal Miss Helena Garcia!!
