SWEAT RECORDS ANNOUNCEMENT: WE ARE MOVING!!

Hey Friends,

First we'd like to thank everyone in Miami for making last week's Awesome New Republic show and Earthdance 2007 such great successes!! Both homegrown events were PACKED and you could definitely feel the 305 love all around. If you hadn't heard, ANR announced that they are in fact reuniting so there will be more amazing shows in the future!!

Now, we've got a major announcement that we couldn't be happier to share...

*SWEAT RECORDS IS MOVING AGAIN - TO OUR OWN STOREFRONT!!!!!!!!!*

Yes friends, it's true and we couldn't be more excited!! And we're not going far...the space up front on NE 2nd Ave. is now the future home of the expanded Sweat Records!! This is PERFECT as now we get to have our own entrance and everything again, but still stay close to and keep partying with our best friends at Churchill's, who so graciously took us in and gave us a home when Hurricane Wilma destroyed the original Sweat location in October 2005. Churchill's rules!!

SO, on Friday, September 28th we will be having our FAREWELL TO THE WAREHOUSE SHOW + SALE!! Check out live performances by...

After this show we will be closed for all of October and November to prepare the new space (and take a small much-needed break!!). We'll re-open Friday, November 30th with a MASSIVE PARTY. The Sweat list will continue to bring you the best, most comprehensive list of South Florida music and cultural happenings every week while we're closed. We'll also be posting pics of the renovations and further details about our plans for the "new" shop, including vinyl players and accessories, books, and even coffee and tea!! A new website launch is in the works too, as well as all sorts of fun special events to take us through the end of the year.
