Thanks again for another great night at Circa28. DJ Le Spam threw down some seriously funky 7"s!! His band the Spam All-Stars has a new album coming out and you can already purchase the whole thing online here. New 12"s at Sweat soon!!
This week at Circa Saturdays we've got the STICKY FINGERS CUPCAKE PARTY!! Our friend Coliene's new baking business "Sticky Fingers Cupcakes" just launched and we're having a tasting party for her delectable mini-cupcakes. They all have cute musical names like "La Isla Bonita" (coconut) and "Stawberry Fields." Going with the Sticky Fingers vibe, Miami's rock 'n' roll power team - Gregg 'The Pharmacist' Foreman and Carmel Ophir will be providing the psychedelic soundtrack downstairs. The cupcakes drop at 11pm.
TONIGHT: Category305.com presents "RED HOT STATE" - an evening of political erotica!! Local personalities will read risque passages from fiction by national political figures. I'm going on first, check it out, more info below and at www.category305.com
LATER TONIGHT: Pre-Vday fun on wheels at ROLL OUT at Gold Coast Roller Rink!!
TOMORROW: The legendary surf-rock guitarist DICK DALE is doing a special one-night-only show at Churchill's!! Opening acts include GUAJIRO and LARAMIE DEAN. Thanks to New Art School for putting on this rad show!! Tickets are $20 at the door, we hope to see you there.
