This Friday we are super pleased to announce the book release party and signing for "PUNK LOVE" - the new book of photographs by our friend Susie Horgan!! Susie met Ian Mackaye and Henry Rollins back when she was scooping ice cream in DC in the early 80s, and she documented the rise of the underground music/cultural scenes with her camera. Most of these photographs have never been published so this book is a must for any Dischord/hardcore/punk rock fan!! I'll be spinning music in the patio while you enjoy the book signing and it's accompanying photo exhibition... It's all goes down 8 to 10pm at Books & Books in Coral Gables (265 Aragon Avenue).Last but not least, our pals at Rag Trade have a new program running through March, it's called COATS FOR CUBS, and you can donate any old fur items you might have back to the animals!! All of the furs received by Rag Trade are sent to the Humane Society and are then are sent to wildlife rehabilitators, who use the furs to warm and comfort orphaned and injured wildlife.
